Taking inspiration from ancient Greek designs, Rosso created a pot with a distinctive clay border, which was popular throughout the 1800s. Steffen Berg created our Helena Pot with inspiration from Rosso’s admired pot. Today, our Italian potters pay homage to Rosso’s masterpiece every time a new Helena Pot is moulded.
Our classic Helena comes in two soft glazed colors inspired by nature: Pearl Grey, mirroring the uncultured pearls that exist in the depths of the ocean, and the ever-loved heart stone, the Rose Quartz, a feminine, nude pink, symbolizing compassion and calm.
The soft-colored saturated glazing accentuates the elegant scalloped fringe along Helena’s top.
