Description: Our salt mill is an elegant glass and pewter totem with the same beading found on all designs that bear the Toscana name.
Each mill is stamped with hallmarks representing our workshop, our company, the tin content of our alloy and the region of Italy where our pieces are made.
Please note: match salt and pepper mills are not interchangeable. match salt mills have a ceramic mechanism, which salt will not harm, while our pepper mills have stainless steel grinding mechanisms, which salt (a corrosive) will destroy.

Care/Use:
- All pewter can be hand washed in warm water with a liquid dish soap. Be sure to dry the pewter completely, as water allowed to dry on pewter may cause spots. Some items, such as Flatware and Dinnerware can be machine washed using a liquid dishwasher soap, on the lowest heat setting, for both the washing and drying cycles.
